This was the discussion at our house on Sunday afternoon. Bug is three days shy of being two years and six months old.
"Hey mama, listen...listen to me...awwwWWWW S##T!"
"MaMAAA, you not listenin to me... AWWWWWWW S##T"
"Listen...I'm 'gon say this...AWWWW S##T!"
I was trying as hard as I could to have no reaction whatsoever. That may have been the hardest thing I've ever done. Do you realize how funny it is to hear your little kid and his twaaangy suuutherrn accent saying "awwww sheeeeit"
Anyway, I ignored it and steered Bug on to playing with his toys and he never said it again. Now that was this past Sunday, and I am counting the days until it rears its ugly head at the most inappropriate time possible.
